We work with academic, clinical, and industry partners to develop innovative solutions in antivirals, viral detection, and drug delivery.
Collaborations
Translational science thrives on partnerships
We believe solving complex virological challenges requires a collaborative mindset. We engage with partners across disciplines to accelerate the translation of ours and our partners research into real-world therapeutic and diagnostic solutions.
Academic Partnerships
Co-develop research projects, publish jointly, and host exchanges for students and researchers.
Industry Engagement
Translate antiviral and delivery platforms into scalable technologies. We welcome co-development and licensing discussions.
Clinical and Translational Networks
Work with clinicians and translational scientists to evaluate safety, efficacy, and delivery systems in biological models.
Our Collaborators Include:
In collaboration with Chester Zoo we worked on a project to combat beak and feather disease virus (BFDV) in Mauritian Parakeets and helped them improve their workflows to save time and money on diagnostics and ultimately support efforts to prevent deaths of their Elephant calves.
In collaboration with Aqdot we explored the novel properties of cucurbit[n]urils leading to better understanding of market potential, positioning of the technology to the correct customer base, enhanced skills sets of all involved and benefited all involved.
Through a joint funding application, we are working with the UKHSA to identify novel antiviral agents against some of the worlds most dangerous and deadly viruses.are also exploring approaches to allow them to more rapidly identify antiviral interventions.
Academic Collaborations
We are a highly collaborative research group and are always excited to work with new academic partners from any discipline. We have worked closely with all of the below research groups to deliver measurable impact, scientific publications and successfully secured grant income.
Mark Travis - University of Manchester
Lisa Ng - IDLabs, A*Star, Singapore
Francesco Stellacci - SuNMIL, EPFL
Alexander Casson - EEE, University of Manchester
